The ZTTK SON-Shine Foundation understands that you may have never had a patient or student with ZTTK Syndrome. We are here to help provide a source of information for you via this website and to connect you with our board members, ZTTK Ambassadors, as well as other clinicians, researchers, physicians, therapists, and educators. We will connect you with other teams and help to get you any other information about the syndrome that you require to best help your patients, students, and their families. Connect with our Primary Researcher
Dr. Erin Eun-Young Ahn is the primary researcher for ZTTK Syndrome. There is a detailed bio for Dr. Ahn in the “About Us” section. She is a Scientist (C) with the O’Neal Comprehensive Cancer Center, School of Medicine, at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is an Associate Professor of Molecular & Cellular Pathology and Joint Pathology. She was part of the team that published one of two simultaneous initial research studies to introduce ZTTK Syndrome to the world from the University of South Alabama.
